Small desert day trip (4×4)

Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel at around 8:30 AM in a 4×4 vehicle, heading toward the charming fisherman village on the wild beach of Sidi R’bat. Here, you can explore the fishermen’s caves and maybe even find some rare shells on the secluded beach. Next, drive along the sand dunes and rugged terrain, hugging the Atlantic Ocean for a true off-road rally experience.

Stop at the Massa River, where you’ll be able to spot migrating birds, before heading towards the walled city of Tiznit. Take in the sight of the city’s impressive walls and ramparts as you get a sense of its rich history.

In Tiznit, enjoy a brief rest break where you can explore the old Medina and browse handmade Berber silver jewelry, a local treasure.

Following the Tiznit visit, we continue our journey into the Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop at a local house to enjoy a hearty traditional lunch of Tajine and Couscous, accompanied by seasonal fruits and refreshing mint tea. If preferred, vegetarian meals can also be arranged.

After lunch, enjoy some free time to capture stunning photos and explore the surrounding sand dunes. For an extra treat, you can opt for a camel ride to further immerse yourself in the desert experience.

Next, head towards the Youssef Ben Tachfine Reservoir (water dam), where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the area. Along the way, observe the Moroccan countryside lifestyle before making your way back to your hotel, having experienced a truly memorable day.
