3-Day Private Morocco Desert Tour from Agadir to Erg Chigaga Dunes

Day 1: Agadir – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Your Sahara adventure kicks off with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Agadir. Journey through the scenic routes of Taznakht and Taliouine, making your way to the famous fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. Take time to explore this UNESCO-listed ksar and enjoy lunch at a local eatery.
Next, continue to Ouarzazate—often called the “Hollywood of Africa”—to visit its iconic Cinema Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirte. Your day ends in Zagora, where you’ll relax for the night in a comfortable guesthouse or hotel.

Day 2: Zagora – Tamgroute – M’hamid – Chegaga
After breakfast, set off around 10 AM towards the edge of the desert. Stop in Tamgroute to explore its underground kasbah, renowned Koranic library, and traditional pottery workshops.
Travel through the scenic Draa Valley and enjoy lunch among the dunes of Erg Lihoudi. For those seeking adventure, a camel ride through the golden sands is a perfect add-on.

Day 3: Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Agadir

Stop at a local carpet cooperative to discover the region’s artisanal heritage, then break for lunch. The final leg of the trip takes you through Taliouine and back to Agadir, with arrival expected in the late evening.
